There are many different cleaning agents for all kinds of stains and surfaces. It can therefore quickly happen that countless different cleaning agents accumulate in our household. Many of them end up in our drains. In most cases, this can be avoided. Avoiding many different cleaning products helps to avoid plastic bottles, save money, avoid using environmentally harmful ingredients and free up space in the home.
A greener alternative is to use cleaners such as vinegar, baking soda and curd soap. These can be used to clean almost all surfaces and keep them clean.
Vinegar - Can remove dirt and limescale from various surfaces. White vinegar can also be used for washing clothes. It eliminates odors and has a cleaning effect. Citric acid has very similar properties and can be used to clean household surfaces.
Baking soda - Is good for dissolving grease, removing odors and removing dirt in general. Baking soda is therefore very suitable for washing dirty dishes. If baking soda is used together with vinegar. For example, this mixture can be used as a drain cleaner. In order to do this, pour 2 teaspoons of baking soda down the drain and add a good sip of vinegar. Baking soda works in a similar way as baking powder and when mixed with water can be used as an all-purpose cleaner.
Curd soap - This cleaning agent also has a wide range of uses. Dirt on laundry or carpets is a good example. However, curd soap can also be used to clean floors and even windows.
